Who We Are

We are Californians for Human Immigrant Rights Leadership Action Fund (CHIRLA Action Fund). The CHIRLA Action Fund was founded in 2009 to advance the rights of immigrants at the local, state and federal level by supporting candidates, legislation and ballot initiatives that create a just society, fully inclusive of immigrants.

Our Immigrant Political Power Project campaign organizes immigrants to participate in the electoral process, educates voters about the issues and supports candidates that uplift immigrants in their policy priorities.

The CHIRLA Action Fund runs education, canvassing and phone bank programs to educate and turn out Latino and new American voters in each and every election cycle, to build our political presence and power.
